Genesis Phil Lara, known as Phil to his family and friends, is a graphic designer and illustrator based in Manitoba, Canada. His passion for arts stemmed from his deep love of dinosaurs and pop culture growing up. He honed his skills through school, reading books, drawing comic strips, and exploring the countryside he grew up in.

He attended Mapua University under the Multimedia Arts program and finished his studies at Red River College Polytechnic graduating in the Graphic Design program. He began his job training at the City of Winnipeg creating safety forms and brochures. He also worked as a graphic artist on Chibi Dinos NFT creating cartoon arts, ads, animations and even making artworks for its NBA sponsors like Terance Mann, Bobby Portis, and Taj Gibson. He's currently the graphic designer and screen printer operator at Harv-Al Sportswear and takes background acting jobs on the side. 

 

​Discovering his own style and aesthetic led him to start his own art business Blazar Genesis Studio where he creates art prints and crafts which he sells online and at local markets.
